A recurring idea in the New Testament letters is that Christians DO NOT belong to this world. It is the why behind the question of finding our belonging. It is the destination to where we will one day arrive. It's the attitude and posture we take here on earth until we pass. Being citizens should affect everything we do in this world. Will we live as citizens of heaven or conform to his present age?
